Influences key stakeholders around the implications of the implementation of revenue growth strategies.

Pricing expertise
Align between functions involved in aspects of Strategic Revenue Management (especially Marketing, Sales, Finance) and coordinate programs and actions needed to implement recommendations as well as future initiatives that affect net revenue realization
Define, develop and implement overall pricing toolkit and methodologies
Shape annual pricing strategy and quarterly review recommendations for leadership discussion and approval
Analytical and strategic skills - Develop meaningful market analytics that fosters strategic thinking regarding the most significant sales and margin growth opportunities relative to industry trends
Drive pricing analysis tracking, determine implications for the business, and communicate findings across the organization
Price & Trade Strategy & Planning
Provides support and analysis in the development of Business Unit Price & Strategic Price Architecture planning
Provides support and analysis for the development of the trade spend, strategic plan and creation of the Price & Trade Investment Strategy Document
Provides support and analysis to determine “major / key” trade funded event's effectiveness and payback relative to Guidelines / Go-To-Market-Strategies and ROI.
Revenue Recognition
Ensure revenue recognition in company financials is in accordance with Accounting Standards, including but not limited to evaluating return rights, customer incentives, software application carve out, and multiple-element arrangements.
Provides revenue recognition guidance based on authoritative literature and company policies, and negotiates and reviews language in customer contracts to maximize revenue to the company.
Write technical accounting memos for revenue recognition on all key contracts and ensures customer arrangements booked in company systems reflect revenue recognition in accordance with revenue recognition accounting standards.
Interpret revenue arrangements, assess and summarize revenue implications, and document conclusions on revenue recognition treatment for all arrangements in accordance with accounting standard.
Identify new opportunities for improvement
Collaborate with cross-functional team to identify opportunities for improvement in current revenue operations processes
Work with product managers and services team to establish Best Estimated Selling Price for products.
Manage key controls over revenue recognition processes for compliance to Masafi requirements
Education Level:
Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or similar discipline.
Experience Gained:
Proven ability to diplomatically challenge the status quo, analytical and technical, with appropriate professional judgment to identify revenue risks and opportunities inherent in the types of transactions and business processes.
8+ years relevant experience required.
At least 7 years accounting/revenue recognition experience or related corporate accounting experience required
